How to play Mahjong Connect
The board is filled with tiles, each showing a Mahjong face (characters, bamboo, circles, winds and dragons). Tap a tile to select it, then tap a second tile with the same face. If the two tiles can be connected by a clear path through empty space that bends no more than twice (three straight segments at most), both tiles clear and the connecting line briefly traces between them. The path may also travel through the empty channel that wraps around the outside edge of the board, so corner tiles can connect "around the back". Clear every tile to win the board.
The connect rule, explained
- Straight line (0 turns): two matching tiles with nothing but empty space directly between them — always connectable.
- L-shape (1 turn): the path bends once around a corner of empty cells, so two tiles that are not in the same row or column can still link.
- Z or U-shape (2 turns): the path bends twice — the maximum allowed.
- Around the edge: the path can leave the grid into the empty border channel and re-enter, so even far-apart corner tiles can link.
- Blocked: if every route between two same-face tiles needs three or more turns, or is blocked by other tiles, they can't be matched yet — clear other tiles to open a route.
Hints and shuffle are free — no watch-an-ad, no pay-to-continue

One shared board, the same for everyone in the world each day, at the Medium layout. Clearing it extends your daily streak, and you can share a spoiler-free result.
What's the difference between Mahjong Connect and Mahjong Solitaire?
This is Mahjong Connect (Onet or Lianliankan): a flat board where you link matching tiles with a path of two turns or fewer. It is a different game from "Mahjong Solitaire / Turtle", which is a 3D stack where you remove free pairs — we don't build that here.
